figure throughout, but there is a 1/8”x4” streak 35”
from an end. Rest is perfect.
Back: Some planer miss that does not clean up
entirely unless taken to 1-5/8” thick. This would leave
you a clean 1-5/8”x7-1/4”x38” and one more 7-1/4”
x19” section too. There is a streak between these two
sections. Maybe it too would plane out at 1-5/8”?

any given year. This is the only one that showed up
in 2011 at this width. Hard maple has a golden amber
color to its sapwood. This piece has a bubbly type of
figure and is clear. Figure goes across the entire
width of the board.
Back: Clear to 22-3/4" then there is an open quarter
sized knot. The knot is 3-1/2" from an edge.
