All Ambrosia Maple, by its nature will have small pin holes. These small worm holes are created by the ambrosia beetle that tunnels through the wood that creates the unique beautiful brown and gray stripes. Thus, this maple is called by the name "Ambrosia Maple". Please note that the beetles die in the kiln process. This will not affect the final performance of the lumber in any negative way.
