The quartered oaks are from one black oak log which is a variety of red oak.  It tends to have a deeper salmon color than conventional red oak.  All of the quartered oaks below will match very well mixed and matched since they are all from the same log.

Please note all wood is flat sawn, face jointed flattened, planed and edge jointed unless otherwise noted. 
Wood has been dried in a Nyle kiln to 6% to 8% moisture content.
